I knew that whisper wasn’t my own thought. It carried weight, clarity, and peace. And the very next day, God confirmed it.

I tuned into a webinar—randomly, or so I thought—and the topic being discussed was Flourishing. Not from a faith perspective, but through the lens of Positive Psychology. For the first time in my career, I was being introduced to a side of mental health that went beyond illness and symptom reduction.

I began to see that mental health is not just the absence of problems.

It’s the presence of wellness.
Of vitality.
Of wholeness.

As I leaned in, I discovered something else that stopped me just as much as that whisper the day before:

The word “flourish” is in the Bible.

Not as a self-help concept.
Not as a luxury for easy seasons.
But as a promise.

​

Scripture speaks of flourishing in righteousness.
Flourishing like a tree planted by streams of water.
Flourishing even in old age.
Flourishing in the courts of our God.

​

That realization changed everything.

What started as a quiet moment in my backyard became a holy disruption—a call to expand how I understood healing, faith, and emotional wellness. God was inviting me to stop asking only, “How do we fix what’s broken?” and start asking,

“What does it look like to truly live well—spirit, soul, and body?”

That moment began a journey—one that has reshaped my counseling work, my teaching, and ultimately my mission.

Today, my calling is this:
To help women move beyond survival mode and learn how to flourish in every area of life—emotionally, spiritually, relationally, and physically—rooted in Christ and supported by both Biblical truth and psychological wisdom.

That is why the Flourish Membership exists.

Not as another program to manage problems.
But as a space to grow roots, bear fruit, and become who God created you to be—no matter the season you’re in.
